Reporting a Bug or Issue
To help reproduce and fix any issue quickly, please include the following details in your email:
Your macOS version (e.g. macOS 26.0) and Mac model (e.g. M3 MacBook Pro or M4 Mac mini).
The input format (e.g. PNG, HEIC, QuickTime MOV) and resolution / size of the problematic file.
The active preset (Tamped, Lossless, Aggressive) and chosen dimension constraint.
What occurred versus what you expected (error text in queue, unexpected size, or visual anomaly).

Where are my tamped files saved?
By default, files are saved in the same directory as the source with a _tamped suffix. You can customise this in Settings (Cmd + ,).
Why did an image's dimensions change?
If you have selected a dimension constraint (e.g. 2560px or 1920px), PixelTamp downscales images exceeding that width/height while preserving aspect ratio. Choose Original Size to prevent downscaling.
